After the hurricanes of 2017, Robert and I were hiking out at one of the local preserves here in Jacksonville. We came upon a few marine grade decks that had washed up onto the preserve. The wood was still in great shape, so we contacted the Preserve and asked if we could come and clean up all of the wood and debris. Robert had to jump through quite a few hoops but was allowed to come out and clean up the mess. So we ended up with so much beautiful wood. It sat in our yard for about a year until recently, Robert was able to take some time and build this beautiful porch. It is our new favorite spot and added so much charm to our little 1940s Ranch Style Home. He did an amazing job, as he always does and Im so proud to call it home. Eventually it will host a peaked pergola, but for now, we will enjoy it as is. Now to clean the indoor clutter. That will be a whole nother blog post. to view more of my husbands work, go to www.robertnoelkecustoms.com
